Rufunsa fire brigade is a unit under Engineering Department of Rufunsa Town Council.

Its primary function is to save life and property from fire destruction, carryout rescue services such as road traffic accidents and drowning 

Services

  • Conducting of fire safety training and certification
  • Conducting of fire safety awareness in all public premises
  • Conducting of fire prevention and protection activities in all public premises
  • Conduct fire investigation and generation of incident reports
  • Emergence response to floods, road oil  spillage cleaning and others
  • Issuing of fire certificates
  • Issuing of fuel storage licenses

STEPS FOR APPLYING FOR A FIRE CERTIFICATE

STEP 1.

Download fire application form.

STEP 2.

Make a payment at the council office – Finance Department.

STEP 3.

Premises inspection and issuance of fire prevention and protection report.

STEP 4.

Preparation and printing of fire certificate.

STEP 5.

Collection of fire certificate by the client
